VC fundraising for ridesharing companies

Ridesharing venture has consolidated around a narrower set of bets after the global build-out. Generalist consumer funds have largely stepped back from horizontal ridehailing, and capital now concentrates in specialist mobility funds backing fleet operators, corporate and intercity mobility, driver tooling, and EV and autonomous adjacencies. The Uber move to profitability and regulatory pressure on driver classification frame what investors will underwrite.

The investor list is short. Specialist mobility funds anchor most rounds, alongside the consumer generalists that stayed in the category - Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz and Accel - and the strategic investment arms of Uber and the major mobility OEMs, which are particularly active in fleet, EV and autonomous adjacencies. Flow has direct relationships with the mobility specialists, the generalists writing the ridehailing thesis and the OEM and platform strategic investment teams.

Flow has experience running VC fundraising processes for ridesharing companies across consumer ridehailing, corporate and intercity mobility, fleet operator platforms, driver and operator tooling and EV and autonomous adjacencies. Our extensive investor network spans early-stage seed funds, growth-stage investors, and strategic and corporate VC arms.
